tec66-conference

Hastings and East Sussex have established themselves as a significant area for high technology companies.

Tec 66 was created as an industry cluster association for Vacuum/Ultra High Vacuum and Photonics to promote the many companies now based in the area, raise awareness of this thriving sector and feature a number of valuable industry expert workshops.

The first Tec 66 Exhibition and Conference was held in September 2013 and was really well received by the industry with delegates attending from all across the world.

Last year’s exhibition attracted some of the top vacuum and photonics companies across the UK and this year you can expect even more as due to the success of the last exhibition we have moved to a larger venue and this years conference will be held at the ultra modern Sussex Coast College based in the centre of Hastings.

The cluster has also worked closely with Sussex Coast College to work with young people to promote technology careers and developed an industry specific accredited Vacuum training course for employees within the industry.

We have great speakers covering subjects including the three eras of space, the new wonder material graphene and its ground breaking applications, vacuum and cryogenics and the funding options for manufacturers in the Vacuum and photonics sectors.

We hope to see you on the 27th October 2014 for the second annual Tec 66 conference and exhibition and if you would like to be a delegate at this fully subsidised events then please register here.
